Amazing staff, and more importantly, excellent food. It's tricky to find good, authentic Iranian food, and this place has it. Generous portion sizes as well.

Don't be fooled by the empty strip mall. The 1001 Nights Restaurant is large, new and well furnished. Their main business are evening special events with music and belly dancing. We were there for lunch and enjoyed it thoroughly. We had Kashk-E-Badmejan as a shared appetizer. It came with Pita bread, butter and it was sauteed eggplant with onions and spices. Our main course was Chicken Kabob and a Gyros platter. Both came with jasmine rice, onions and tomatoes. Both meals were excellent and we are ready to go back.

We ate there for the first time this past weekend and all I can say was wow! Great food and customer service! They even had a belly dancer perform that evening which made for a very fun night. It has only been open for about 4 months and not many people seem to know about this place as of yet because there were a lot of open tables. If anybody is on the fence about coming here, give it a try and you will not be disappointed!

We had a coupon which is what brought this restaurant to our attention. The atmosphere is nice, good background music, quiet and very clean. Food was superb. We ordered the eggplant appetizer dish and it was very good, I don't usually like eggplant, but liked this dish. We both ordered the beef filet shish kabob and the meat was so tender, perfectly seasoned and cooked. The serving sizes are huge! One dinner plate can easily feed two. For a Friday night there was only one other table, which is really sad, because the food and the service are awesome. Would love to see this place survive, so please visit. You won't be disappointed.

Great service. Delicouse food. Owner plays traditional or dance music and there is a dance floor for people to dance if they want. Order take out or ask for delivery through DoorDash application. Definately tastes home-made. ❤❤❤❤

Today I ordered a dinner to be delivered via DoorDash to my daughter and son-in-law for his birthday. It was a surprise for my son-in-law! Because of the current Covid-19 virus situation, we cannot go out to dinner together. After I placed my order online, I called the restaurant to confirm the order and to give more specific directions for the delivery address. I believe I spoke to the owner of 1001 Nights. He was so kind and accommodating - and he even asked the delivery driver to wish my son-in-law a "Happy Birthday!" The delivery was on time and the food was excellent!! My daughter & son-in-law were so pleased! I can't wait until restaurants re-open so that we can visit 1001 Nights for another wonderful dinner - and so that I can thank the owner in person!

The food was very fresh and tasty and the location is very tastefully decorated and very clean. We were there on a Thursday night and it was quiet and nice to be in a restaurant that doesn't have a lot of background noise or blaring televisions like most places today. We will definitely come back as the food was very good. My only complaint was that we had a coupon and I didn't realize it said we had to order an entree and instead I ordered a sandwich and they would not honor it. I felt that the owner could have easily done so. I would otherwise recommend the place for a party or a banquet. It is nice and large and they have a stage and a dance area. Since it's off of the beaten path many people probably don't know it's there. I have lived here for 5 years and never noticed it before.

I don't even know where to begin. This place was recommended by co workers at Septembers down the street and we took their word and chance and by God it was amazing. The lamb was to die for. Im so happy I chose this place over any ordinary bar and grill we initially had in mind. I was very pleased.

Great Persian restaurant with great food, service, and some weekends middle eastern live bands. Masoud the owner is chef as well, he often comes to tables checking on things. Been there many times for different functions.

Our second time here. I'm not overwhelmed, was expecting a more flavorful seasoned food, especially the rice. I've been to the Middle East and love all the spicy food, was hoping for more of the same.

First, it's a banquet hall not a proper restaurant, so the environment is terrible. I was the only diner on a Thursday evening, and there was one server/chef/proprietor(?) on duty - his service was awful. The lamb kabob, while not tender, was very nicely cooked and delicious. Such a mixed bag. Would not return.

Good food. Friendly staff. The beef tenderloin in the Saltani dish was absolutely perfectly cooked. Plenty of pita to get you through the meal and the portions are big enough for 2. Perhaps that's the way it's to be eaten? Anyhow, worth the experience and support your locals!

Excellent Persian restaurant! Beyond flavorful and delicious. Also, very hospitable service, and elegant setting. They also have belly dancers on Friday and Saturday nights! We will be back, and back often. Excited to have another excellent local restaurant in the Fiesta District!

Absolutely FANTASTIC!!!!!! It really is on point with the Persian Room but much closer for those who live in the East Valley. The staff, Chef and owner are awesome as well and the food is beyond delicious!! A must try even if you are hesitant to venture out into Persian food!! We will be coming back a TON!!!

Delecious Persian food but the decoration of the restaurant is old fashioned

If you like Persian food this is the place to go and if you have not tried Persian food suffice to say that I have not met anyone that has tried and have not liked it. Food is good and resonably priced. call before you go to make sure there are no events going on at the restaurant. They also have take out.

I ordered take out from here. (I found this place out thanks to a special on Groupon.). I appreciated the coupon, and the restaurant was very nicely decorated. Unfortunately, what I ordered turned out to be a to go box filled mostly with rice and only 2 pieces of Persian (?) style meat. At least the taste was decent- the meat wast tender, and I got to say I tried Persian food.
